Therapy for ADHD, Autistic, AuDHD,
Highly Sensitive & Gender‑Diverse Neurodivergent Humans —
by Someone Who Gets It.

Show up authentically — you won’t be too much here.

You're Already in the Right Room

Online therapy is common now. What's less common is being told, up front, that you don't have to perform being a good client.

Working online means you don't spend your regulation budget just getting here. No commute, no waiting room, no fluorescent hallway, no small talk with a receptionist when you're already at capacity.

You're in your own space, with your own lighting, your own fidgets, your own blanket, your own floor.

  • Camera on, camera off, or somewhere in between

  • No forced eye contact — look anywhere, I'm not tracking it

  • Stim freely: rock, pace, knit, chew, fidget

  • Sit, stand, lie on the floor, or take the session from under a weighted blanket

  • Audio-only days are fine. So are typing-in-the-chat days.

  • You don't have to mask, and you don't have to "hold it together"

  • Going quiet mid-sentence or ending early is allowed and doesn't need explaining

Your natural way of being is welcomed and supported.

Who I Support

*

Who I Support *

I work with neurodivergent people of ages (12+) who want a therapist who actually understands their brain.

This includes:

  • ADHD & ADD

  • Autistic & AuDHD

  • Highly Sensitive People (HSP)

  • Hyper-Empathic People

  • Gifted/2e

  • Gender‑diverse & queer neurodivergent folks

  • Anyone who has been misunderstood, dismissed, or overwhelmed in typical therapy

If you’ve felt “too much,” “too intense,” “too emotional,” “too sensitive,” or “not human” you are in the right place.

Serving British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan — online only.

My Approach

Hi, I’m Alexandra

Hello!

I’m a neurodivergent therapist (ADHD, Autistic, HSP, Hyper-Empathic) who works exclusively with neurodivergent people.

I know what it’s like to grow up misunderstood, to mask until there is a cost, and to be told to “just try harder” when your brain is wired differently.

I built Kurth Counselling to be the space I always needed — warm, accepting, sensory‑friendly, and grounded in real neurodivergent experience.

Therapy with me is real, human, and deeply validating.

You don’t have to hide the parts of yourself that other people found “too much.”
Here, they make sense.

Sessions are 50 minutes, held by secure video or phone — whichever works better for your brain on a given day.

  • Online across British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Alberta — video or phone

  • 50‑minute sessions

  • Free 15-minute consult before you book anything

  • Booking and rescheduling online — no phone call required

  • $180 per session.

  • Receipts provided for extended health claims. Many plans cover Canadian Certified Counsellors (CCC); check yours before booking.

Everything about how you show up is up to you. This part is just the logistics.
