My Approach
I don’t try to make neurodivergent people act neurotypical.
I work with your brain, not against it.
Therapy with me is:
collaborative, not top‑down
paced to your nervous system
sensory‑aware
honest and direct
humour-friendly
masking‑free
flexible and human
I’m ADHD and Autistic myself — so you don’t need to translate your experience.
No scripts. No pressure. No “shoulds.”
Just two humans working together in a way that makes sense for your brain.
Our Values
Everything I do is rooted in neurodivergent affirmation:
Authenticity over Performance
You never have to mask, code‑switch, or “act professional” here.
Neurodiversity, Not Pathology
Your brain isn’t a problem to fix — it’s a different wiring to understand.
Respect for Your Pace
Whether you speak in metaphors, info‑dump, pause for long stretches, stim, or need time to regulate — it all belongs.
Agency & Collaboration
We work together. You’re the expert on your experience.
Safety & Sensory Comfort
Lighting, textures, seating, and expectations are set up to make your nervous system feel safe enough to be honest.
Humour & Humanity
We can laugh. We can be real. Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a performance.
What Sessions Are Like
You can:
keep your camera off
stim, rock, fidget, or move around
sit on the couch, rocking chair, or the floor
look at the lava lamp instead of me
pause to regulate
speak however your brain speaks that day
There is no “right way” to do therapy here.
We follow your flow, your capacity, and your emotional bandwidth.
Sessions are flexible because neurodivergent brains need options.
Why Neurodivergent‑Led Therapy Matters
*
Why Neurodivergent‑Led Therapy Matters *
The double empathy problem is real — ND people often struggle being understood by NT therapists.
With me, you don’t have to:
explain what burnout feels like
justify stimming
decode social rules
translate your communication style
pretend to be less sensitive, less intense, or less emotional
I get the lived experience.
I get the sensory needs.
I get the overwhelm.
I get the humour.
I get the depth.
It’s not just training — it’s lived reality.
