Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapy
Neurodivergent-affirming therapy is a way of working that starts from a simple premise: your brain is not broken. Autism and ADHD are natural variations in how human nervous systems develop, not problems to be fixed. Therapy is not about making you appear more “typical,” suppressing traits, or teaching you to mask who you are in order to survive.

In this approach, your lived experience is the authority. We take your sensory needs, communication style, energy limits, interests, and emotional rhythms seriously. Difficulty is understood as something that arises from a mismatch between you and your environment, expectations, or past experiences—not as a personal failure or deficit.

For many autistic and ADHD adults, therapy elsewhere has felt confusing, invalidating, or exhausting. You may have been encouraged to push through burnout, override your body’s signals, or measure progress by productivity and compliance. Neurodivergent-affirming therapy takes a different path. We slow down. We listen to your nervous system. We work with your brain instead of against it.
Neurodivergent Counselling Services

ADHD & Autism Support
Therapy is designed to honour both the challenges and the strengths that come with ADHD and autism. Rather than trying to change who you are, the focus is on understanding your nervous system, building confidence, developing coping strategies that work for your brain, and fostering more supportive relationships with yourself and others.
Gender Identity Counselling
I provide a safe and inclusive space for exploring gender identity and expression. Neurodivergence and Gender differences often intercept. My counselling approach aims to support individuals in navigating the emotional and social aspects of their gender identity, fostering self-acceptance and empowerment, all with an affirming lens.

Psychoeducation & Guidance
Using tailored psychoeducation and somatic approaches, I support individuals in understanding how their minds and bodies work, embracing their authentic selves, and navigating everyday life with greater clarity and self-trust. Together, we focus on sustainable growth, resilience, and self-discovery.
Supporting Sensory Differences
Sensory differences are a fundamental part of neurodivergence. Feeling more at ease in our minds and bodies often comes not from pushing through discomfort, but from learning how to shape our environments in ways that feel more supportive and sustainable.
